MIDFIELDER John Fowler took the coveted players' player award when the trophies were handed out at Kendal Town FC's presentation bash at The Park last Saturday evening.
Kendal Town player-manager Lee Ashcroft said: "He's been a fantastic member of the squad and it shows how much respect he has in the dressing-room to receive the award they all want to win."
Ashcroft shared the supporters' player award with central defender Dene Whittal-Williams, while Peter Wright, who attended the presentation despite having undergone double hernia surgery in the week, took the committee's player award.
Dave Foster stepped up to take the top scorer's trophy with 17 goal - one more than Ashcroft.
Ashcroft is still in discussions with Preston, Everton and Wigan in a bid to arrange some high-profile pre-season friendlies and is thought to be close to agreeing a deal to keep him at Town for the next couple of seasons.
