THE curtain has come down on another North Lancs Football League campaign with cups won, titles decided and relegation fate sealed.
The last piece of silverware to be contested was the Alan Shanks/Fisher/Howson/Remembrance Cup - and there is a new on the cup after Ingleton Reserves beat Highgrove Reserves.
It proved to be third time lucky for Ingleton having lost on their two previous cup final appearances as a goal from player/manager Mark Dobson was enough to clinch victory.
In the Premier Division, a weakened Carnforth Rangers side secured runners-up spot behind champions Caton United thanks to a 4-2 win against Morecambe Royals.
Dan Broadley fired the Royals ahead from the penalty spot but Rangers rallied and hit back with goals from Nick Pidcock (2), Jordan Dixon pand Phil Meeks before Johnny Durnan added a late second for the Royals.
