WHILE rugby enthusiasts will be watching the final rounds of the Six Nations competition tomorrow (Saturday, March 10) Kendal will be playing catch-up in North Division One. The town's rugby side lost two games to bad weather and this weekend their home match with Stockport has been rescheduled. Kick-off at Mint Bridge is at 3pm.
ON THE football front, Kendal Town are without a match this week in the UniBond League Premier Division, so local interest centres on the Westmorland FA's Benevolent Cup and a semi-final clash between Coniston and Kendal County. Kick-off is at 2pm RUNNERS will be pounding up hill and down dale tomorrow (Saturday, March 10) in the Dentdale Run. The popular 14-mile road race starts from Dent Primary School at noon.
WITH just three matches left to play, Windermere men's hockey side need just one win to clinch the North West Men's league Division Seven North title and they hope to tie up the title before their home supporters at the Lakes School pitch tomorrow (Saturday, March 10) when they take on bottom side Daten 2s. The action starts at 1pm.
