Honours for kart kids Three South Lakeland lads featured prominently in the Cumbria Kart Racing Club awards.
National champion Sedbergh's Sam Moore received the club's award for the best gearbox driver's performance at the British Champion-ships and also received his winner's trophy following his success at the British Open held at Rowrah last July.
Kendal's Aaron Byrom won the Rowrah-based club's Junior Rotax and Junior Gearbox Championship, while fellow Kendal driver Adam Taylor finished runner-up in the Comer Cadet class and also received the John Surtees Trophy for the best new driver coming through the Racing For Buttons scheme.
The club won the Lockton Insurance Motor Sports Association Club of the Year Trophy, beating 800 other entries throughout the country.
