ENGLAND have kept faith with Cumbrian Paul Nixon and included the wicketkeeper/batsman in the World Cup squad.
Carlisle-born Nixon played for Edenhall in the Eden Valley League and Cumberland before moving into the First-Class cricket with Kent and Leicestershire.
England confirmed today that Michael Vaughan will skipper England in the World Cup this spring.
Mal Loye is dropped and Essex all-rounder Ravi Bopara comes into the squad, with the injured Kevin Pietersen, James Anderton and Jon Lewis all chosen to return after regaining fitness.
England's first match in the Caribbean-based World Cup is against New Zealand on March 16.
