There was no further score by the visitors, although Gareth Arnison came close to scoring a couple of times, and Town lost 2-1.Town now face what the manager calls "a massive match" against Ashton at home on Tuesday night.
The Tameside visitors are lying immediately above Town in 17th placei n the table , just a point to the good.
Kick-off at the Planet Conservatories Stadium is 7.45.
