Glaxo’s Alan Turner fought back for the Division One Ulverston-based outfit with a tremendous 17-15, 16-13, 16-14 victory against Ben Smith.
Glaxo levelled the tie at 2-2 when Les Shaw dispatched Hawley in three straight sets 11-7, 11-8, 14-12 and then powered in front at 3-2 following Ackred’s ice cool 16-14, 11-15, 10-15, 16-14, 16-14 five set victory against an unfortunate Smith.
