KENDAL County got back to winning ways with a solid 1-0 victory at home to Askam United.
In a game with not many clear cut chances and the weather playing its part on a windy day both teams cancelled each other out until a lofted Rory Neale pass over the top of the defenders was superbly volleyed into the far corner by Joe Baker.
County created a few more chances and Askam gave a good game with debutant 17-year-old Jack Brolly in goal giving a good account of himself.
Nathan Cook struck a hat-trick for Lytham Town as Ambleside United fell to a 5-1 defeat in Division One.
Ryan Dodds and Shaw got the other goals for Lytham, while Shaun Gardner bagged the goal for the home side.
Milnthorpe Corinthians’ difficult season continued as they were thumped 14-1 by Bolton County.
The Lancashire side were 9-0 up at half time, scoring in regular intervals throughout the first period.
Jason Dixon pulled a goal back for Milnthorpe in the 52nd minute to make it 10-1 after Josh Morris scored for the home side, but Bolton added four more goals to round off a comfortable victory.
