For the past 18 months, Cumbria Rural Citizens Advice Bureau has been expanding its service, to meet local demand for free, impartial and confidential advice.
We now give advice 6 days a week, face-to-face or over the telephone, and have outlets at Ambleside, Grange-over-Sands, Kendal, Ulverston and Windermere.
To better reflect our new improved service, we have changed our name to ‘South Lakes Citizens Advice Bureau’.
So how do you get advice? Simply telephone the Windermere office on 015394 46464.
We help everyone.
We do this by using a ‘triage’ type system, taking a few details from you to assess the urgency of your enquiry and then offering you an appointment or giving immediate help.
Most of our advice is delivered by highly trained Volunteers, but we also have a few Specialist Advisers who give money advice.
If you are in debt or struggling to make ends meet, do get in touch.
We can help you make a budget and sort your debts into affordable repayments. The sooner you get advice, the better.
