A HOCKEY team finished its season on a high after securing a convincing victory.
Ambleside Hockey Club clinched a 3-1 victory over Kendal at the weekend.
With a limited squad, the team was determined to give 100 per cent on the pitch.
Straight from the start, players quickly built play with Piper Fairman finding the back of the net.
Kendal players were quick to react and fought hard to equal the score.
In the second half, Charlotte Russell sealed the deal with two more goals in quick succession leaving Kendal unable to match Ambleside's team spirit.
After a difficult season, Ambleside has finished in a positive position and together as a club is looking forward to next year.
