Kirkby Stephen Grammar School sixth form students again achieved excellent results in their AS and A Level results.
Outstanding achievers included Jessica Dillon, who was awarded two A* and an A; Claire Huck A*A*AB; Sally Murray-Fella A*A*A; Emma Rennison A*AA; Jack Sunter AAB; Jack Thornborrow AAB and Will Thwaites AABB.
Year 12 students did very well in their AS examinations. A number of students achieved excellent grades, including Rebecca Barnes AAAB, Richard Hunter AAAC and Mischa Purnell AAAC.
Head teacher David Keetley commented: “I am delighted with the results achieved by our students and their teachers.
"They represent a consistently high pass rate, average point score per student and average point score per entry.
" Well done to all the students and staff for their hard work, academic rigour and skilful teaching. Our sixth formers have again risen to the challenge.”
Head of Sixth Form, Rachel Steels, said: “This year group has extremely committed and dedicated students who fully deserve their successes.”
