YEAR 11 students at Settlebeck School in Sedbergh are celebrating their own part in A-Level results day.
For the first time pupils from the school have sat AS Levels in Extended Research Project and Critical Thinking, with 12 achieving passes.
Head teacher Dr Judith Greene said: “They and their teachers have worked really hard on these new courses and have very much enjoyed the challenge of studying at advanced level.
“The 12 students have done extremely well in achieving good grades in these subjects a year early, and I would like to send them my congratulations.”
