A FUNDRAISING event takes place this weekend to help a little boy from Ulverston.
Jack's Appeal, which raises money for Jack Bennett, who suffers from Cerebral Palsy, has organised a two-day charity day at The Craft Studio Glass Works, Newland, Ulverston, on Saturday and Sunday.
It will be signposted from the A590 at Newland tickets are £5 for adults and £3 for children, including afternoon tea, and they can also be used on both days with tea on either day.
There will be a cake stall, plants, face painting, raffle, treasure hunt and, if the weather is good, pony rides too.
There will be free craft sessions with the opportunity for making a glass pendant and earring set. The gardens will be open to the public which also coincides with the Ulverston Open Gardens weekend.
