UNION Jack bunting and community spirit was in abundance at Bouth today (Tuesday).
Villagers joined in with the national party to mark The Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
The village green was the venue with locals endulging in a Jacob's join, a shared meal where everybody brought a dish.
There was a plethora of cakes decorated with the union flag and hot and cold food as residents grabbed the opportunity to celebrate 60 years of Elizabeth II's reign.
Young and old played croquet on the green and raised a glass in toast to Elizabeth II, while farmer Alex Sharp even brought down his vintage steam ploughing engine for the occasion.
Ken Dean said: "People in Bouth definitely pull together and we are lucky that our small village still has a sense of community spirit."
Fellow villager David Hamer added: "Everyone has got involved and made food. I made some salmon and cheese wraps and my wife made cupcakes. It is nice to have at least one event a year where we can all meet together."
