Grasmere: Grasmere Players will perform ‘A Right Royal Do,’ village hall, 8pm.

Kendal: Photographs of the Queen’s 1956 visit to Westmorland will be exhibited until July 20 at Kendal Museum. Wednesday to Saturday, 10.30am-5pm.

Kendal: The Wakefield Arms Table Restaurant will give a free meal to any child dressed in their ‘finest Royal attire’ over the bank holiday weekend.

Kendal: Party at Webster’s Yard retirement complex, Highgate, 4pm.

Ambleside: BBQ at Waterhead, featuring free cupcakes, 12-4pm.

Borwick and Priest Hutton: Jacob’s join and music, 6.30pm.

Bowness: Floral celebration displays in St Martin’s Church, 10.30am-4pm. Three Sopranos concert, 7.30pm.

Bowness: Cream tea party, British-themed music and raffle, Lindeth Howe Country House Hotel, 2-4pm.

Burton-in-Kendal: Craft and district history society exhibition. Photos and memorabilia, 10am-4pm.

Burton-in-Lonsdale: 1950s themed dance, village hall, 7.30pm.

Casterton: Exhibition of memorabilia and local history in the Holy Trinity church, Saturday to Monday.

Dentdale: Coffee morning, memorial hall, 10-11.15am.

Endmoor: Fancy dress parade, 1.45pm, finishing at village hall where QES brass band will play. Fancy dress competition and races for children at 2pm. Fell race late afternoon plus egg-throwing contest and tug-of-war.

Grasmere: BBQ, bar, athletic and novelty races in the village park. Flat races for 5-16 year olds, 1-2pm, cross country, 2– 2.45pm, novelty fun races, 3.30– 4.30pm, adult fun sports, 4.30 – 5.30pm. Disco and live music in village hall, 7.30pm-midnight.

Grasmere: Storytelling and riverside walk, Storytellers Garden, 2pm.

Heversham: Barn dance, Parkhouse Farm, 7.30pm.

Ingleton: Counterfeit Abba Tribute Band, Community Centre, over 18s, from 7pm.

Kendal: Sizergh Castle fete with medieval games, sword making, jousting tournament, quiz, and games, 11am-4pm.

Kendal: Party at K Village, with workshops for children, 2-4pm. Kate Middleton lookalike from 2pm.

Kendal: Traders of Wainwright’s Yard raising money for Sandgate Hydrotherapy Pool. Punch and Judy, 11.30am and 3.30pm, fashion show, 2pm, pizza dough demos, BBQ, raffle, 11am-2pm. ‘Jubilee fun event’, Kirkbarrow playground, 2-4pm.

Kirkby Lonsdale: People and pets urged to appear in Jubilee photo. Opposite the Royal Hotel, 8.45am to 9am. All day balloon rally at rugby club, Underley Park, with bonfire and BBQ.

Kirkby Stephen: Parrots Park, It’s a Knock Out, children’s sports, primary school fun day and tug-of-war. 11am, maypole dancing. 2pm, Masonic Hall, silver band, jugglers, cream teas. 3pm, Social Club, disco, 4.30-6pm. The main street will be closed off from 6pm for acrobats, zumba and local artists.

Orton: Annual ‘exhibition and gift days’ at All Saints Church with coffee and cream teas available. Also a scarecrow competition around the village. Saturday, Sunday, Monday.

Oxenholme: Hill Place party, 2pm.

Sattherthwaite: Beer festival and folk music starting at noon at the Eagle’s Head. Food served from 12.30pm to 2.00pm and 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Picnic in the duck race field at 3pm, with live piano music, competitions and stalls. Bowkerstead farm will then have contemporary music playing from 9pm.

Settle: Continental market, 9am-5pm.

Spark Bridge: Cream tea on village green, bouncy castle and children’s events, 2-5pm.

Ulverston: Victoria Garden has been revamped and will be renamed Jubilee Gardens. The major will carry out the ceremony at 11am.

Windermere: Outdoor party and afternoon of entertainment, Marchesi Centre, 2-5pm.

Ambleside: BBQ at the Waterhead, featuring free Jubilee cupcakes. 12-4pm.

Arnside: Service at St James Parish, 10.30am. A Jacob's Join lunch will follow.

Broughton: Stalls, activities and refreshments around village, 1-4pm.

Burton-in-Lonsdale: Car boot sale, recreation ground, 8am - 1pm, Ceilidh, village hall, 7.30pm. Cartmel: Tea Party, primary school hall, 3-6pm.

Casterton: Service in Holy Trinity church, 11am. Jacob’s Join lunch at the school pavilion, 12.30-5pm. Includes ‘fun and frolics’ on the sports field. Exhibition of memorabilia and local history in the Holy Trinity church.

Chapel-le-Dale: Annual Teddy Bears Picnic Service, 2.30pm, Tea Party, 4pm.

Coniston: Street party on Tilberthwaite Avenue from noon, with circus entertainment and competitions for best dressed bike/scooter, house/shop. Display of Coniston photos at the Institute from 12-4pm. Water Walkers on the lake from 5-7pm. Free cruise on the lake for local residents from 5.30pm. ‘Through the Decades’ disco, Institute, 7pm.

Crook: Jubilee Songs of Praise service and celebrations, 11am, Brook Memorial Hall. Games and quiz, 2-6pm, afternoon tea 4pm.
