THE Liberal Democrats have retained control of Arnside and Beetham and Kendal Fell.
The Conservatives held onto Ulverston East, Ulverston North, Ulverston South and Ulverston West.
Long-standing councillor Roger Bingham was returned as Conservative representative in Burton and Holme.
