NORTH Yorkshire’s Giggleswick School is celebrating its 500-year anniversary by creating two special scholarship awards.
Two means-tested academic scholarships which can be worth up 75 per cent of the school’s boarding fee have been made available by a former student to mark the school’s quincentenary.
Candidates must be potential boarders and be aged between ten and 11 in January 2012 when the school’s scholarship and entrance exams are held for Year 7 entry in September 2012.
Further information about the quincentenary awards and how to apply for them can be obtained from Giggleswick School on 01729 893000.
