NIMBLE-fingered pupils at Crosscrake Primary School will help ensure every Olympic athlete won’t go home empty-handed at the end of the 2012 games.
The school’s craft club is one of many organisations around the country making 14,000 pennants as part of a UK wide project devised by Quilts4London.
Pupils from the school have worked on individual pennants designing them from scratch in a project that started in the summer term after parent helper and quilter Annabel Durnford came up with the idea.
The finished pennants will be on display at school before being packed off to the project organisers.
