ARTIST Christine Rooney was invited to the National Portrait Gallery as she develops ideas for her role as BT Storyteller for the London Olympics.
With just 44 weeks to go until the Games begin, Christine, from Storth, attended the gallery for the BT Road to 2012 exhibition through acclaimed photographers Emma Hardy and Finley McKay, which celebrates high profile people and those working behind the scenes to make the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games happen.
She said: “The exhibition seems to bring to life inspirational stories of endeavour and achievement and although I am not a photographer it was clear to see that these well known photographers had produced beautiful, subtle and yet dynamic pictures.”
