THE head teacher of Cartmel Priory CofE School said he was proud of the achievements of GCSE students across the ability range.
Dr Paul Williams said students, staff and parents had worked hard to achieve an excellent set of results.
“It was great to see so many doing well in traditional GCSE subjects as well as vocational courses with the large majority of students achieving success in the key GCSE subjects of English and maths,” said Dr Williams.
“Many students achieved three or more A*/A grades and there were a number of students with A*/A grades across the board.
“Just as importantly many of the students wishing to enrol on apprenticeships have been successful. We are proud of the achievements across the ability range.”
