OLYMPIC gold medallist James Cracknell will pass through Cumbria on Friday when he competes in the Adidas TERREX adventure race from St Bees Head to Robin Hood’s Bay.
Cracknell, who struck gold in the Athens and Sydney Olympics as part of the British rowing team, will cycle to Loweswater, kayak Crummock Water and Buttermere and climb Robinson, before swimming in Derwentwater and heading further east.
