BOOKWORMS at Sedbergh School were visited by a New York Times best-selling children’s author as part of a reading festival.
GP Taylor, whose work includes Tersias and Vampyre Labyrinth, held workshops in the morning and talked to pupils in the school library in the afternoon.
“The writer was very inspirational and worked extremely well with the kids,” said senior master, Guy Ayling.
“He has got a colourful background, having worked as a vicar and a police officer, so he brings his own experience.
“He inspired the kids to read.”
