STAFF at a luxury soap makers have taken to tractors to beat the snow and carry on trading.
With a record number of festive orders to get out, Sedbergh Soap Company could have got in a lather when access roads to its remote headquarters were blocked by more than a foot of snow.
But founder Dorthe Pratt and the team were so determined to get the bath and body treats out on time that she roped in farmer hus-band Andrew to deliver parcels to a courier by tractor and trailer.
They have been transporting staff to and from work by quad bike too.
