FUNERAL: William Wilson
THE funeral of an Eden pensioner who was found dead in his frozen garden has been held in Kirkby Stephen.
The body of William Wilson, 84, was discovered in the tiny hamlet of Waitby, two miles west of the town, by neighbour Dawn Harrison on the morning of November 30.
His funeral was held at Kirkby Stephen Parish Church on Tuesday.
Police said it was believed Mr Wilson went out into his snow-filled garden after dark on Monday, November 29, to take in coal.
