Residents are being urged not to miss a slice of the action at the Best of Lakeland Hospitality Show: Festival of Food, where new Residents’ Open Fortnight Passes are being made available exclusively at the show.
The Lakes Hospitality Association is delighted to be offering a new Residents’ Open Fortnight voucher scheme, with an emphasis on excellent local food offers and discounts.
Formerly run by South Lakeland District Council, the revamped Residents’ Pass will be crammed with offers for meals and snacks at local restaurants, cafés and hotels.
Jonathan Denby, chairman of Lakes Hospitality Association, said: “We will offer residents a taste of the fantastic fare that Cumbria has to offer through a booklet of varied value-for-money offers for the public to use in our cafés, restaurants and hotels.”
Residents will be able to collect the voucher booklets on either of the two days of the show – March 10 and 11, 2011, which will be held at a new venue at the Glebe at Bowness.
The booklets are to be kept ready for Residents’ Open Fortnight, which is to run between Monday, March 21 and Friday, April 1, 2011.
