FRIENDS of a walker who went missing in Langdale hope fell flags will raise awareness of the 41-year-old.
Chay Lancaster disappeared on September 11 but relatives have not given up hope of finding the father-of-three alive.
The group have placed Tibetan prayer flags at the peaks of some of the Blackpool care worker’s favourite fells.
Simon Greene, 41, a school friend of Mr Lancaster, said the group were hopeful that he was still alive.
Nobody has been discovered after searches from Langdale and Ambleside, Kendal and Duddon Mountain Rescue Teams and Cumbria Police.
Mr Lancaster is believed to have travelled to the Langdale Valley, and was last seen at Skelwith Bridge.
