INTERNATIONALLY renowned Lancaster film producer and director Chee Keong Cheung has taken a budding young media professional from Berlin under his wing for three months as part of the Event Berlin Project.
Coordinating partner GJHM Business and Training Services has placed 29-year-old Shamsan Anders with Chee’s Intense Productions.
Shamsan is one of eight young professionals from Berlin, working in media, cultural affairs and education, who have been placed with media companies across Lancashire.
Shamsan, who is on traineeship with Berlin-based, Egoli Tossell Film, said he was very excited about having the opportunity to gain a valuable insight into the workings of a UK film production company. He added: “I really appreciate having the chance to be a part of Intense Productions and learning from such a talented producer like Chee Keong Cheung and his team".
