A FAMILY has paid tribute to a Furness woman who died from stab wounds this week.
Sara Trelore, 44, of North Row, Barrow, died on Monday afternoon after police were called to reports of a domestic incident on North Row at 12.11pm.
Upon arrival at a house on North Row, they found a man and woman with serious injuries.
Mrs Trelore died at the scene.
Her parents, Cecelia and George Dockeray, said: "She was our daughter and we loved her dearly.
"She was a lovely auntie and sister and she will be sadly missed by all."
A 49-year-old-man from Barrow suffered serious abdominal stab wound injuries and was taken to Furness General Hospital for treatment.
He remains in police custody while receiving treatment in hospital this morning.
He has been arrested on suspicion of murder and will be formally interviewed by detectives on his release from hospital.
