ANTIQUE collectors can find out how much their treasured possessions are worth at a South Lakeland fundraiser.
Ambleside's Brathay Trust has teamed up with Kendal's Eighteen Eighteen for the Friday, December 3, event.
The charity, which offers troubled and underprivileged youngsters a second chance, is urging people to dig out items - no matter how dusty - and get them valued by an expert.
Peter Grenville, of the trust, said: "You never know what people have dotted around the house that might be valuable.
"By coming along to this valuation day, they'll get a chance to find out what it's worth, and by making a donation to Brathay, help us continue the work we do with children and young people.
"We might even find someone has a Van Gogh in their loft!"
