A NORTH Lancashire bus service will be diverted next week due to a bridge being closed.
The 81A service, which runs between Lancaster and Kirby Lonsdale, will be diverted at Gressingham where the Loyn Bridge is closed due to United Utilities works on a water main.
A revised timetable for the 81A between Kirkby Lonsdale and Gressingham via Whittington and Arkholme will be in operation for up to five days from Monday 15 November.
Gressingham will still be served with the bus turning at Gressingham Church then operating via Halton to Lancaster. Return journeys take the reverse route.
There is no change to the rest of the timetable – journeys between Hornby and Lancaster and the remaining Lune ! Villager Services are unaffected.
