AN ASKAM man has been jailed for drugs and money laundering offences.
David Charles McCormick, 35, of Plover Close, has been imprisoned for five-and-a-half years for supplying heroin and money laundering offences.
Furness Magistrates’ Court heard that he was arrested in Barrow on April 14 and found with heroin and £1,435 in cash. A search of his home recovered more heroin and £11,020 in cash.
In total, four ounces of heroin was recovered with a potential street value of £6,000.
He pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing.
