Two cars badly damaged in Beetham collision
A COLLISION involving a green Volvo and silver Transit van left both cars badly damaged on a busy South Lakeland road today.
Two vehicles were both left heavily damaged in the incident, which took place outside Beetham Nurseries, on the A6.
The car’s front windscreen was smashed and its airbag had been activated. Glass and debris were scattered across the road while several police officers managed the traffic flow.
The incident took place at around 2pm.
An ambulance was called to the scene and the road was closed while one of the vehicle occupants was treated by paramedics.
No further information has currently been released by police.
