A CELEBRATED South Lakeland countryside event is set to return after two years of cancellations due to bad weather.
Witherslack Horse Show will make its comeback at Cartmel Racecourse on Sunday, September 19.
Trevor Farrer, an organiser, said: “There will be 38 classes for all types of horses and ponies, including natives, heavy horses and a driving class. As an innovation this year there is a novelty dog show.”
Organisers of the non-profit making show will be raising money for the North West Air Ambulance and Lyth Valley First Responders. As much as £5,000 has been raised at previous events.
