MARYLYN Shuttleworth pre-sided over the WI meeting, welcoming John Natlacen, of Churchmouse Cheeses, at Kirkby Lonsdale, to talk on how he set up his businesses.
Five different cheeses were on hand to be sampled and he said why he had chosen them and their source.
The Institute supplied the wine and water biscuits.
