A STRETCH of the walk between Biskey Howe viewpoint and Post Knott in Bowness has been made wheelchair-friendly.
A half-mile piece of ground with a modest slope, which gives views of the lake, the Horseshoe and Coniston Old Man, has been given improved drainage and treated with crushed granite.
The works were funded by the National Trust, which leases the land from the Matson Ground Estate, and a grant from South Lakeland Tourism Partnership.
