Kerry Milligan from Underbarrow will be taking part in an exciting study trip to New Zealand sponsored by Rotary Clubs in the North West in spring next year.
Kerry, who has worked for the Cumbria Wildlife Trust for seven years, was nominated by the Rotary Club of Kendal.
The theme of the visit, which is being organised in conjunction with Rotary Clubs in New Zealand, is The Future of the Natural and Built Environment.
Participants will be able to exchange experiences with New Zealanders working in the same field, and will bring back ideas for implementation here.
