THE fuel crisis has forced the cancellation of tomorrow's Furness Budgerigar Society's fifth annual show at Dalton.
Chairman/treasuer Bob Davies explained that competitiors started preparing their birds for a show a fortnight prior to the event and uncertainty about fuel meant there were only 99 entries on Monday - usually the show attracts 250.
