ULVERSTON electronics firm Oxleys is hoping for more overseas orders with news of a visit from the Australian High Commission in October.
Senior officials are to be shown recent Oxleys inventions, such as night vision lighting for military aircraft and electronic tags for military equipment, said managing director Geoff Edwards.
The company also hopes to interest Australia in its electronic tagging systems for animals.
The visit was organised by Furness Enterprise for local firms which wish to consolidate or develop contacts with Australian business and defence.
Drew Systems, Marl International and Systems Technologies will also be hosting visits.
