thisisthelakedistrict.co.uk has launched its first online polling station with a vote on the traffic changes proposed for Kendal.

Everyone is encouraged to register their level of support for the proposed changes - including re-routing traffice, to bus/cycle lanes to park and ride options - on our online vote (see home page for link).

The online voting option gives people in the town, as well as visitors, a chance to have a voice in future plans for one of the busiest streets in the Lakes.

Voting responses will be forwarded to the Kendal Traffic Steering Group.
