COMMUNITY groups can now enhance their print news by putting it on their own web site - a free service from the Gazette.
These free, ready-to-go web sites for not-for-profit clubs, groups and organisations are available on the Gazette's web site www.thisisthelakedistrict.co.uk
Nicknamed 'CommuniGate', a web site can be live in a matter of minutes.
It is easy to use, offers lots of value-added features for indivualisation and help is only a phone call away to the Web Editor.
'CommuniGate' hosts youth sports clubs, a horticultural society, voluntary organisations, charities and special interests groups.
These non-profit groups are using their sites to promote events, increase public awareness and keep members informed of upcoming events.
Your site can have as many pages as you want - and can be updated at your leisure with information and images.
You can choose several options from the Gazette site to link into, such as weather, news or sports.
It also offers options like guest book, email, hit counter, survey and bulletin board at just a click.
For information call the Web Editor, Kate Harrison, at 01539-720555 or email at kate.harrison@notes.newsquest.co.uk.
