In Division Two, Cartmel Reserves completed the double over Slyne-Hest Reserves.
The 3-1 win lifts them to fourth in the table, with games in had over two of the teams above them.
In a bad-tempered game against Grange Reserves, Torrisholme had one player sent off for violent conduct and the stand-in referee struggled to keep control, but between the aggro Torrisholme played some excellent football to win 4-0.
Hala added to Bolton-le-Sands Reserves troubles by beating them 5-1.
Highlight of the game was a generation gap double father Keith Tremble and son Chad both scored for Hala.
In Division Three, newcomers Swarthmoor SC are finding the going tough and conceded six goals for the second week running when they lost 6-1 to a young Halton Rangers Reserves side.
Holme Athletic are finding life in Division Three more to their liking and moved into third place by beating Bentham Reserves 3-2.
In a high-scoring game played in excellent spirits Allithwaite Reserves beat Torrisholme Reserves 7-5.
