VICTORIA A still lead the Mint Motors League in the Kendal Victoria BC Floodlit Doubles competitions after 3-2 wins against Windermere A and Burneside.
Netherfield A are six points adrift with a game in hand, while Windermere, a further four points behind, also look capable of posing a challenge.
Only two weeks of the season remain and the clash between Victoria A and Netherfield A on the last night could prove to be the title decider.
An abysmal run of defeats for Victoria B means they look certain for the drop.
In the Skipton Building Society League, Staveley maintained their excellent run and lead the table on 38 points followed Subscription B (32) and Ingleborough (30) in what also promises to be an exciting climax.
