PEDESTRIANS can give their views on how their safety could be protected on Kirkby Stephen's streets.
A public meeting has been called in response to complaints about drivers of Shopmobility scooters speeding round street corners and cyclists riding on pavements and footways.
Town council clerk Hebron Lumley said representatives of Age Concern, Cumbria County Council highways and the police had been invited to the meeting on Tuesday, October 10, at the Masonic Hall at 7pm.
