MORE than two kilometres of heavily eroded bridleways in the Three Peaks area of the Yorkshire Dales has been restored over the summer.
Sections of the Craven Way and the Foxup Bridleway have been resurfaced as part of the £60,000 project funded by a European grant.
Repaired bridleways now need to be re-seeded and entered into a five-year fertilising programme to encourage native plant species to re-vegetate the bridleways and minimise the visual impact of the work.
