LAKE District planners have thrown out a scheme to put up a wind turbine in the garden of a home at Ayside.
They argued Mr J.
Stephens's plan for 6.5 metres high turbine at Branscar Fold would be unneighbourly, even though there were no objections from nearby residents.
South Lakeland District Council environmental health officers had recommended refusal, saying noise generated by the turbine could be intrusive and cause a statutory nuisance.
