GUESTS at the YMCA National Centre will be able to enjoy a more comfortable sleep and improved facilities in modern accommodation if the Lake District National Park approve plans for the premises.

The centre at Lakeside, on the shores of Windermere, which welcomes youngsters and adults from around the country, hopes to demolish an existing sleeping area and build new accommodation with additional teaching and activity rooms.
