MORE details of a planned multi-million pound re-development scheme in Kendal are to be unveiled.
The former AXA buildings at Stramongate have been earmarked for conversion into offices, executive apartments and a bar/restaurant, creating up to 400 new jobs.
Developer Crosby Homes has invited the town's residents to take their first look at the plans to breathe new life into the premises at a public exhibition next Tuesday.
The presentation at Sand Aire House at the site from 10am-4pm will show computer-generated images of the proposed scheme.
Subject to planning approval, the £8 million project will take 12 months to complete.
Axa vacated the buildings last month.
