POLICE are looking into how a man whose body was found lying face down at the foot of Warton Crag, Carnforth, met his death.
A member of the public made the grim find on Tuesday afternoon and Bowland Mountain Rescue Team was called in to help scenes of crime officers look for clues.
The man was named yesterday as Paul Greaves, 47, of Hawarden Street, Nelson.
A car found abandoned in the crag car park, believed to belong to the dead man, was also searched and no note to indicate that Mr Greaves had intended to take his own life was found.
But police said there was nothing to suggest foul play.
