POLICE are to get tough on groups of youths creating a nuisance in an area of Kendal.
Groups of children have been causing trouble in Aynam and Parkside Road as well as around K Village.
The worst incidents have involved bricks and other missiles being thrown at property and children deliberately walking out into Aynam Road and stopping traffic.
The police have taken the names of some of those involved and Inspector Denis Readhead, of Kendal Police, said: "Should anybody re-offend then the police will take positive action.
If there is any damage caused we will report them for any offences."
