A LAKELAND hotel has won a prestigious national award.
The Rothay Garden Hotel, Grasmere, was voted "top hotel" in the blue riband 'Best Leisure Marketing Campaign' category of the Hotel Marketing Association's annual awards.
Manager director Chris Carss, who is celebrating his 10th year at the hotel, said: "To be up against bigger hotels with marketing budgets ten times the size of ours and come away with this award is just amazing".
